The journal Privredna kretanja i ekonomska politika (Economic Trends and Economic Policy) publishes research and professional papers relating to all fields of economics. Emphasis is placed on empirical and policy-oriented papers that rely on experiences of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern European countries. However, contributions on topics relevant for other parts of the world are also welcome. Submitted papers should be in Croatian or English. The journal contains a section on book reviews, conference summaries and reports on similar events. It is a double-blind refereed journal that is published on a quarterly basis. The editorial board aims to ensure that authors receive a decision relating the status of their manuscripts in a timely manner.

The published papers are listed in the AEA (American Economic Association) indexes included in JEL on CD, e-JEL, and EconLit as well as ABI/INFORM, EBSCO, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS), SCOPUS and Hrčak – Portal of scientific journals of Croatia.

The publishers agree with the open access principle regarding the papers published in the journal with a condition of copyright protection.
