Creation of a Short Study on Professional Practice in Higher Education in the Republic of Croatia

Summary: 
The aim of creating a short study on professional practice in higher education in the Republic of Croatia is to gain new knowledge on: types of professional practice in the Republic of Croatia, representation of professional practice, quality of professional practice, cooperation between higher education institutions and employers, and cooperation between students and employers. Research on the representation and quality of professional practice will be conducted according to: types and levels of study programs; universities and types of higher education institutions where the program is conducted; founder (public or private); scientific areas and fields to which the study programs belong.  Based on the results of the analysis, conclusions will be drawn about the existing structural, financial, personnel and other obstacles to the development and improvement of professional practice. Also, examples of positive measures and policies as well as examples of good practices in higher education institutions will be identified. Based on the conclusions, recommendations will be made to increase representation and improve the quality of professional practice.
