Tourism Management, one of the top three journals in tourism research (WOS factor 10.967, ABS 4*), published an article of our research team working on the project “TOURCRO – Too much of a good thing? The effects of tourism on the housing market in Croatia”.

The article titled “High season, low growth: The impact of tourism seasonality and vulnerability to tourism on the emergence of high-growth firms” analyzes the effects of tourism on the emergence of high-growth firms in Croatian municipalities. Maruška Vizek, the project lead, has dedicated a comment on the subject in EIZ komentar (in Croatian).

“The effect of tourism activity on housing affordability”, a previous research paper of the TOURCRO project team, was published in the prestigious Annals of Tourism Research, which has already been announced. Till today, the paper on the impact of tourism activity on housing prices in Croatia is reported to be one of the most downloaded articles of this journal, according to the Croatian Science Foundation.
