Summary: 
The purpose of this assignment was to provide DG REGIO geographical unit responsible for Croatia with a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the regional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Republic of Croatia. The analysis also included changes in the structure of the Croatian economy with special emphasis on the effect of the pandemic on the tourism sector. The analysis was conducted on the regional level, ranging from NUTS 2 and NUTS 3 level depending on the availability of data. Data sources included public statistical sources as well as public documents such as strategic documents, research and professional articles, etc. The quantitative analysis was presented by the tools of the descriptive statistics with corresponding graph analysis while qualitative analysis encompassed a review of the existing literature and relevant public documents.
