Summary:


The aim of the BVI Croatia project was to contribute to the larger project „Enriching tourism offer for persons with visual impairment and blindness (VISITUS)“, financed within the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia — Serbia 2014 –2020. The VISITUS project aimed to create preconditions for developing tourism and to enable blind and visually impaired (BVI) persons to fully participate in newly designed tourism offer. BVI Croatia focused on the research of tourism for blind and visually impaired in Croatia and was effectuated in the Institute of Economics, Zagreb.

The result of the project was a study on desk research of tourism for blind and visually impaired in Croatia. In the elaboration of the study, the method used was mainly desk research and descriptive assessment.
